From the North or Northwest: Take I-94 (Edens Expressway) or I-90 (Northwest Tollway) to I-90/94 East (Kennedy Expressway) and exit downtown on Washington Street. Turn left (east) and continue past the Chicago River. The first street past the river is Wacker Drive. Continue with IZS Local Directions below.
From O'Hare Airport: When leaving the airport, proceed east onto I-190, which leads directly into I-90. Proceed to I-90/94 East (Kennedy Expressway) and exit downtown on Washington Street. From the West: Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) until it ends. Stay in the right lane at the end of the highway until you see an exit for Wacker Drive/Franklin Street. After entering the exit labeled Wacker Drive/Franklin Street, stay in the left lane of the exit ramp for Upper Wacker Drive. Proceed north to Washington Street. From the East: Take I-90 (the Indiana Tollroad/Skyway) toward Chicago. Follow signs to I-90/94 West (the Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit downtown on Washington Street. Turn Right (east) and continue past the Chicago River. The first street past the river is Wacker Drive. Continue with IZS Local Directions below.
From Midway Airport/Southwest: Exit the airport at Cicero Avenue, turn left (North) and travel approximately two miles to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Follow I-55 North to I-90/94 North (Dan Ryan Expressway), toward signs for Wisconsin. Exit Washington Street, turn right (east) and continue past the Chicago River. The first street past the river is Wacker Drive. Continue with IZS Local Directions below.
Via Mass Transportation: We are conveniently located within walking distance of the CTA Washington/Wells "L" station which services the Brown, Purple, and Orange Lines, as well as Metra which serves Ogilvie and Union Stations. Also, numerous bus lines run via both Washington and Madison Streets with stops near Wacker Drive. Please feel free to call for directions to/from O'Hare (CTA Blue Line) or Midway (CTA Orange Line).
IZS Local Directions: IZS is located in the Civic Opera Building, which is on the west side of Wacker Drive, between Washington and Madison. There are several public parking garages within walking distance on Wacker Drive, Madison Street, and Washington Street. Meters are also available on a limited basis. If taking a taxi, ask the driver to let you off on the southwest corner of Wacker Drive and Washington, or the northwest corner of Wacker Drive and Madison. The entrance at 20 N. Wacker Drive is in the middle of the block and equidistant from each corner.
