Description:
Our client is a Multi Billion Dollar consumer packaged goods organization located just west of downtown Chicago. They are currently looking to add a Senior Cost Accountant to their team. You are most likely familiar with the products of this organization and might even have some in your home!
Some responsibilities include:
- Develop cost estimates on a timely basis and communicate issues
- Maintain and update system's accuracy of standard costs
- Obtain all appropriate documentation, making certain all supporting detail agrees with and is validated with the capital spending budget and is in compliance with capital policy
- Prepar journal entries by reporting on information in an accurate, timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Computer Skills with proficiency in Windows NT and Microsoft Office Software, PeopleSoft Financial Applications and AS 400 Queries and SAP experience a plus
