Description:
Our client is a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food processing and air transportation industries and they are conveniently located in Chicago's Loop. We are currently assisting them in their search for a Senior Tax Analyst, International to support the completion of the U.S. Federal income tax return by:
- Leading in the preparation of Form 5471 and 8858
- Assisting with the preparation of Form 1118 and the gathering of documentation relating to the foreign tax credit
- Calculating the domestic deduction production deduction
- Preparing disclosure statements for transactions as they occur
Address Quarterly and Annual tax provision requirements by:
- Assisting with the preparation of the U.S. income tax provision associated with deemed (Subpart F and IRC Section 956) and actual dividends
- Calculating the foreign tax credit utilization
- Assisting with the review of foreign income tax provisions and compiles information regarding foreign deferred tax assets and liabilities
- Coordinating compliance with FIN 48 and Sarbanes Oxley Requirements.
Provides assistance in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
Assist with reviewing foreign income tax returns and monitoring permanent establishment exposure.
Coordinate compliance with FIN 48 and Sarbanes Oxley Requirements.
Support the Corporate Tax Manager with tax research.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Accounting
Masters in Taxation preferred
Minimum of 4 years of income tax experience in private industry/and or public accounting
Experience with Subpart F income, IRC Section 861 and foreign tax credit limitation calculations
Strong skills in Hyperion, Excel and InSource
Works within a team effectively
Self-motivated and proactive
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and tax technical skills
Excellent oral and written skills
